What is the company focused on now?
We are focused on revolutionising beekeeping through non-invasive hive inspection technology, enabling data-driven bee pollination to significantly enhance agricultural productivity. To achieve this, traceability, transparency, and data security regarding hive health information are essential, and BeeSTAR supports these data-driven agricultural decisions.
Why did you seek an R&D Loan? What did it help you achieve?
Developing BeeSTAR has been a major investment for us, requiring continuous research and development. We needed additional funding to keep developing BeeSTAR, but waiting for our R&D tax refund would have been too slow for our needs.
Kashcade’s R&D loan allowed us to unlock that capital earlier, which was crucial for keeping our development on track. With the loan, we were able to continue expanding BeeSTAR’s capabilities and invest in new features, like superior remote connectivity and collecting more accurate field data. This has helped us scale quickly without disrupting our cash flow.
What was your experience like with Kashcade?
